Introduction
The AD7193 is a low-noise, low-power, 24-bit, Σ-Δ (sigma-delta) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that can be configured to have 4 or 8 differential or pseudo-differential input channels. It provides excellent AC and DC performance, and its on-chip programmable gain amplifier (PGA) allows the analog input range to be scaled to the required application. The device incorporates a digital filter that provides a variety of output update rates and noise performance levels to suit the application requirements.
