Where to Build TSMC's Advanced Process: 2nm Processing Completed, 1.4nm Pending

Where will the market focus on TSMC's advanced manufacturing processes and build factories? Wu Zhengzhong, chairman of the "National Science and Technology Council" in Taiwan, China, China, said that the continuous layout of three science parks could meet the needs of TSMC's plant construction. "2nm is expected to be completed, and now there is 1.4nm left".

Regarding whether TSMC has opened a new science park for its 1.4nm process, Wu Zhengzhong stated that it would be best to utilize the existing park.

Wu Zhengzhong stated that TSMC has performed well in its operations. In addition to building factories overseas, the Science Park is responsible for providing relevant industrial environments on the island. As for the specific layout of TSMC, it should be publicly announced by TSMC.

The land in the science park is continuously being laid out, and TSMC's current demand will be met. The processing of 2nm is expected to be completed, leaving only 1.4nm.

According to TSMC's plan, the 2nm advanced technology is expected to be mass-produced in 2025, with production bases located at Zhuke Baoshan and Kaohsiung factories. Among them, the two factories originally planned to be built in Kaohsiung will both introduce a 2nm process.
