UK AI startup Stability AI faces new investment due to funding shortage
According to reports, on June 21st, UK artificial intelligence startup Stability AI appointed Prem Akkaraju as the new CEO. Akkaraju previously served as CEO of visual effects company Vita Digital.
It is reported that a group of investors, including Akkaraju and former Facebook CEO Sean Parker, have injected funds into Stability AI, which is facing funding shortages. The company stated last month that it is in talks with a group of investors regarding large-scale equity investments. There are reports that these investors have invested over 100 million US dollars in total.
Now it is time for AI to "squeeze foam". Stability AI is a star startup that created the Stable Diffusion series model. Previously, it was reported that Stability AI owed nearly $100 million.
