It believes that the current difficulty of cylindrical batteries lies in the process, mainly reflected in the manufacturing efficiency of the full pole ear and the product straight-through rate, which are the key factors affecting the mass production of large cylindrical batteries.
According to data, Sunwoda achieved a revenue of 13.36 billion yuan from consumer batteries in the first half of 2023, a year-on-year decrease of 0.7%; The operating revenue of electric vehicle batteries reached 5.186 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 23.47%; The operating revenue of energy storage system batteries reached 452 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 152.06%; Other categories achieved a revenue of 3.238 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 16.63%.
In terms of the market, Sunwoda believes that with the end of the destocking phase for various manufacturers and the release of new consumer electronics products, the consumer market will grow in the second half of 2023 compared to the first half.
