SIXT and Stellantis Group reach an agreement worth billions of euros
On January 17th, mobile travel service providers SIXT and Stellantis Group announced that they have reached an agreement worth billions of euros. According to the agreement, SIXT will purchase up to 250000 Stellantis Group branded cars for its leasing fleet in Europe and North America over the next three years. The delivery of the first batch of vehicles for this transaction will take place as early as the first quarter of 2024, and the remaining delivery work will run throughout the year.

It is reported that the brands delivered by Stellantis Group to SIXT include Alpha Romeo, Chrysler, Citroen, Dodge, DS, Fiat, Jeep, Lancia, Opel, Peugeot, Ram, Vauxhall, and Maserati. The models will include small cars, SUVs, vans, trucks, as well as vehicles with the latest software and information entertainment technology, including pure electric vehicles, covering all power types. If there are special orders added beyond the 2024 delivery plan, the delivery quantity, model composition, and delivery date can be flexibly negotiated between the two companies based on the needs of the SIXT rental fleet.
In addition, Stellantis Group and SIXT will also explore potential collaboration opportunities on a global scale, including Stellantis' data services business "Mobilitights", which can provide and develop data packages to SIXT for developing and licensing innovative enterprise to enterprise products, APP applications, and related services. In the process of Stellantis delivering vehicles to SIXT, the number of fully connected vehicles in the SIXT rental fleet will significantly increase. Therefore, when users return vehicles, telemetry data such as fuel remaining in the tank and driving distance can be automatically transmitted to SIXT. This will enable SIXT to simplify the operational processes of its local branches, thereby benefiting customers with faster business processing speed and better vehicle availability.
