Industry insiders have revealed that Samsung Electronics will launch the flagship Galaxy Book 4 series of laptops equipped with Intel's new generation Core Ultra processor on December 15th. Compared to the previous generation, the release time was advanced by about a month and a half, which is seen as a strategic measure to ensure the symbolic status of the "first AI laptop".
Core Ultra is the first Intel processor to integrate neural processing units (NPUs) into on-chip systems (SoCs), capable of handling multiple AI operations without network connectivity.
Samsung Electronics is expected to apply Samsung Gauss proprietary AI models to Galaxy Book 4 series devices. The AI on the device does not need to transmit the collected information to the central server, thereby improving processing speed and enhancing security. The Galaxy Book 4 series is expected to be released at the end of December or early January next year.
According to reports, LG Electronics and HP are also preparing AI laptops equipped with Core Ultra, and are currently considering a release date.
