NVIDIA has become TSMC's second largest customer, accounting for 11% of TSMC's revenue last year
It is reported that Nvidia has become TSMC's second largest customer, second only to Apple.
TSMC typically does not disclose relationships with customers, but according to relevant US laws, it is necessary to disclose data on customers who account for more than 10% of its revenue. Financial analyst Dan Nystedt believes that Nvidia accounted for 11% of TSMC's revenue in 2023.
In 2023, NVIDIA paid $7.73 billion to TSMC, accounting for 11% of TSMC's revenue. TSMC's top ten customers accounted for 91% of last year's net revenue, up from 82% in 2022. These companies also include MediaTek, AMD, Qualcomm, Broadcom, Sony, and Meiman Electronics.
The demand for artificial intelligence devices continues to grow, and Nvidia's revenue share at TSMC will increase in 2024. Nvidia's cutting-edge products, including H100 and A100 artificial intelligence accelerators, are manufactured at TSMC factories.
Apple has been TSMC's largest customer for many years, and its position at TSMC will not change in the foreseeable future.
